Next Hull City manager: Ex-Fulham, Ipswich Town, Reading and Hull defender emerges as heavy favourite for Championship role
Former Olympiacos manager Pedro Martins was pictured with owner Acun Ilicali after the club sacked Shota Arveladze at the end of September but talks over a move broke down.

Hide AdInterim manager and club stalwart Andy Dawson has been given at least until the end of this week to prove himself in the role, with Hull visiting Rotherham United on Saturday.
Dawson’s side beat Blackpool in midweek in a huge result that could bolster his chances of landing the role permanently while he has been adding to his backroom staff with analyst Beri Pardo, formerly of Crystal Palace, joining alongside a new assistant coach in Robbie Stockdale.
However, Rosenior – who played over 100 games for Hull between 2010 and 2015 – has emerged as the new favourite.
The ex-Fulham, Reading, Ipswich Town and Brighton player was interim boss at Derby County for 12 games this season before being replaced by Paul Warne.
