Flood warnings still in place in the UK after heavy and persistent rain
This led to flood warnings beings issued for numerous places, and many of these are still in place in England and Wales.

Twenty flood warnings are currently in place, with the Environment Agency explaining that this means “Flooding is expected - immediate action required”.
