Musicians add another string to bow
The musicians are due to perform in a production of Le Jongleur de Notre Dame, in the Howard Assembly Room, at Leeds Grand Theatre.
Based on an ancient French legend, Le Jongleur de Notre Dame tells the tale of a mute street performer who is taken in by an Abbey and entertains the Monks and the Virgin Mary with his jugging acrobatics.

Hide AdOpera North organised the juggling workshop at the end of a musical rehearsal to give the youngsters an opportunity to experience circus theatre first-hand and gain a greater appreciation of how it links in with their performance. The musicians aged between 10-18 have been selected by Opera North and Education Leeds from different musical ensembles across Leeds. They have been brought together as one of the four components of composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies's rarely performed work.
It will premiere alongside other works by Davies at the Howard Assembly Room on Friday at 7.30pm.
