Foot-injury mother died of blood clot
An inquest heard how Melanie Hutchison, 42, from Leeds, was hurt in a fall in December last year.
Her husband, Tony, took Mrs Hutchison to St James's Hospital in Leeds, where she had a cast put on. But days before the pot was due to be removed in January, the purchase ledger supervisor died due to a deep vein thrombosis which led to a blood clot on her lungs.

Coroner David Hinchliff recorded a verdict of accidental death. He said he would contact Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to suggest they look again at procedures in the fracture clinic.
Mr and Mrs Hutchison had been married for nine years and they have two daughters.
A Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust spokeswoman said: "We would like to assure the family that we will respond to the coroner and take action on any recommendations he might make."
