Wakefield-based YPO partners with leading UK charity to protect children
Throughout a three-year partnership, Wakefield-based YPO will be supporting the charity with its work to change children’s lives for the better.
Simon Hill, managing director at YPO, said: “We’re proud to be working in collaboration with the NSPCC to protect children and young people across the UK. It’s a great example of our commitment to social value, and specifically how we can make a positive impact by supporting charitable activities and organisations.”

As part of the partnership, YPO will be helping to amplify the NSPCC’s message - including by raising awareness of their campaigns, advice and resources in their various publications.
YPO will also be donating a minimum of £20,000 of all profits made on its annual YPO brand sales.
The YPO team will also embark on an employee engagement mission, by fundraising and raising awareness of the NSPCC’s work.

This has included gifting electronic resources to help the NSPCC handle the demand on its services due to home working, and making donations in the sum of £430 through wellbeing events, staff fundraising and the Best Companies UK Employee Engagement Survey.
As part of its agreement with YPO for use of car park facilities during peak periods, Morrisons, located next to the YPO at Junction 41 Industrial Park, Wakefield, donated £3,000 to the NSPCC as YPO’s charity of choice.
Nathan Shrubb, regional corporate partnerships manager at the NSPCC, said: “We’re delighted to welcome YPO to our network of corporate partners who empower the work we do to support children across the UK. Every childhood should be free from harm or neglect - but we know this sadly is not the case. Our services act as a lifeline for many children and young people every day.”
